The room decides before you enter it.

VASTA places Indonesian companies in front of the people who can actually say yes, in Japan, China and the Gulf. Introduced, briefed, and expected.

We are not a directory. We are the intermediary.

Manifesto

We are the person who calls ahead, knows the context, and makes sure that when you walk into the room you are already expected.

Three markets running. Named counterparts. No lists, ever.

What we do

Five services. Every one of them ends in a relationship somebody has to maintain.

Discuss a mandate
01

Strategic business matching

The right counterpart, briefed before you arrive.

02

Market entry programs

Gateway to Japan, China and the Gulf.

03

Trade missions and delegations

You travel as a recommended party.

04

Curated rooms

Small tables, deliberately assembled.

05

Business diplomacy

Institutional trust, built to outlast a deal.

What we hold to

Four principles that decide which mandates we accept.

We are judged on the depth of a few relationships, not the volume of many. One introduction that changes a company beats a hundred that fill a calendar.

Curated, not aggregated01

Our access is borrowed from the institutions that vouch for us. We protect it by being careful about who we put in front of them.

Credible by association02

International business is decided in the pauses. We brief both sides on the things nobody writes into the agenda.

Culturally fluent03

Behind every mandate is a person carrying it. We work with the person first and the transaction second.

The firm

Access is borrowed. We protect it by being careful about who we lend it to.

VASTA runs on institutional trust: embassy trade desks, national business associations, foundations. That access is not ours to spend freely. It is the reason we decline more mandates than we take.

Meet the founders

Rabia leads VASTA's institutional relationships. She has convened the firm's Gateway sessions with embassy trade officials and Gulf industry principals, and brings a public-policy background to every mandate the firm accepts.

Dhanti Mahardhika

Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer

Dhanti runs VASTA's Japan track and its partner ecosystem, with separate leadership roles at CAN Foundation and WomenIn Indonesia. She positions Indonesian companies so they read as credible before the first meeting starts.

Four steps. The last one is the one most firms skip.

How it works

01

Discovery

A confidential conversation about where you are trying to go and who actually needs to say yes.

02

Curation

We map counterparts against your mandate and rule out the ones that only look right on paper.

03

Introduction

We make the introduction ourselves, with context on both sides, so the meeting opens at the second question.

04

Cultivation

We stay in the relationship after the handshake, because the value is in the second year, not the first meeting.

Questions

The things people ask before the first call. If yours is not here, ask us directly.

What does an engagement cost?

It depends on the market and the mandate. We quote after the first conversation, never before, because the work is not comparable across clients.

Do you work with foreign companies entering Indonesia?

Our evidenced work runs outbound: Indonesian companies going into Japan, China and the Gulf. We take inbound mandates selectively and will tell you plainly if we are not the right firm.

How long before I meet someone?

Weeks, not days. Curation is the product. A fast introduction is the one thing we will not sell you.

Can you guarantee a deal?

No. We guarantee the quality of the room and the honesty of the brief on both sides. What happens next is your business.

Why should I believe you have access?

Ask us for the specific counterpart, the specific post, and the date. We will name them in the first meeting.
